The UAE introduced Excise Tax in 2017 as part of its diversified tax framework to promote public health and environmental responsibility. This indirect tax targets products considered harmful, such as tobacco, energy drinks, carbonated beverages, sweetened drinks, and electronic smoking devices.

For businesses engaged in manufacturing, importing, or stockpiling excise goods, staying compliant with FTA regulations is critical to avoid penalties and ensure seamless operations. As your trusted tax advisory partner, BMS Auditing supports companies across the UAE in navigating excise tax rules, audit preparation, and compliance requirements.
